I forgot to mention about my proposal!

Izy proposed to me on Tuesday nite, 9th July 2008, ie 2 nites before the 'merisik'. He brought me to Porta Romano (so predictable) and presented me with the ring after dinner. He was so nervous..! At first i was like asking myself, "where's the flowers?" "is this it?". But came the moment, it was just perfect. I couldnt ask for more. When u were in that moment, u tend to forget ur surroundings. I mean, what's happening around u, where u are, whether there's any flowers around u.... it all dont matter nemore. *dreaming..........*

Wait a minute.. is not a dream! It was real! It did happen! I was proposed.. and now getting engaged! Yeayyyyyy.................

It has just begun....

On 10 July 2008, last Thursday, Izy's parents came over to officially ask my hand in marriage (on his behalf). This is occasion is what the Malays call it 'merisik'. It was a happy and joyous occasion. Everyone was happy, and everybody knows everybody. Talking about six degrees of separation.... this is eight degrees!! The dulang with the tepak sirih and campul was so so lovely. My ring.. of course.. is just perfect. It's from Tous; gold band with bear-shaped filled diamonds. Lovely.

So the engagement date is set on the 24th August. So..... this it it!

It's been a while since i last wrote on my blog.

Went to the Marketplace @ KL Urbanscapes last Sat, 28 June. It was hot, packed, then it rained. Bought two stuff from Baby (notsofrumpy). Love her stuff cos they have it in small sizes, or i can fit their free size. That's cos Baby is smaller than me! Jealous.... ; p

After that, me and the girls met up at nelly's house. Her house is awesome.. I love it! The design is minimalist kind of style and modern yet it has that classic touch. We had dinner (Jaja's mom's cooking); title - Nasi beriyani and 2 types of ayam, kambing, dal w beef and acar. The ayam masak merah was ooooooo yum. Then we chit chat, and played taboo til past midnite. T'was a fun nite.

Yesterday, Sun the 29th, had a full day. First, went to the wedding exhibition at Jalan Conlay next to Sri Melayu. Then, makan at Santai. Went to ou to watch 'Wanted', came out then bought another movie, 'Sepi'. In between movies, i followed izy to look for some gifts for his mommy since it was her bday.

Watched 2nd half of the euro2008 final game. Hail Espana! They won 1-0 beating ze Germans.

PS3

I bought Izy his PS3. Finally, after months of hearing him talk, hint whatsoever about it.. i got him what he wanted so badly. It's supposed to be one of the hantaran gifts but like the Prada bag.. i bought it in advance. Oh ya, i bought the Prada orange bag (I mean i advanced my money and buy it first, which Izy will reimburse in due course).. for my hantaran, from Izy of course. I had a huge dilemma; white or orange.... then finally decided with the orange one.

Back to the PS3, it cost me RM1,590 plus one game, but minus the second controller. PS doesn't come with 2 controllers nowadays?! Geez.... teruk lah. So Izy was happy today.. i'm glad. Now he's at home, probably start playing already. But i'm not worried.. cos he has made promises that, in summary, he will not be so into his new toy that he would abandon me and his other responsibilities.

Me going to do more research then zzzzzz. Nite.

Prada wallet

I bought the red Prada envelope wallet today! Well i asked Izy to get it for me from the boutique at KLCC but of course i paid for it myself. I transferred the money to his account.

Yeayy... where shall i wear it to for the first time??

Tonight i'm having dinner with my parents and my sis, maybe my bro too (dunno). At the curve, maybe Sakae Sushi. The purpose of going dinner tonight is not one that is the normal family outing thingy. Tonight is special.. i'm going to tell my parents about my plans with izy. Well more like izy's plans (and his parents). I think this time it's for real. He's for real.... da one. Dunno what's the outcome of tonight gonna be.... nervous yet quite confident that they are going to say OK, and hopefully, gonna be happy for me. And everyone's gonna be happy (amiiiiin). Please God show give me the strength and courage. It's all up to you, the Almighty.

I'm still sick.... sigh. cant wait to home and sleep. oh but wait.. tonite we're celebrating hazran's bday. iana wants to go somewhere in kl, but don't know where yet. last nite i worked til 3 am; 2 am the previous nite. Is it worth it.............??
